The Ghost Fleet
Ghost Fleet follows a small clad of activists who risk their lives on remote Indonesian islands, fighting to grant freedom to the enslaved fishermen who meet the world’s insatiable appetite for seafood. Bangkok-based Patima Tungpuchayakul, a Thai abolitionist, has committed her life to helping these “lost” men return home. Facing illness, death threats, corruption, and complacency, Patima’s fearless determination for justice inspires her nation and the world. Code Blue Foundation is proud to have produced this film with Vulcan Productions. We are immensely proud to report that through the course of filming, many of these fishing slaves were reunited with their families.
